The four vessels of Class “4 Li” were all built at Cantieri Breda di Porto Marghera in 1935. The class consists of Altino, Aquileia, Concordia and Eraclea. They still see daily use on Route LN from San Marco to Lido and Punta Sabbioni (on a peninsular of the mainland). The continuation of Route LN from Punta Sabbioni to Burano, Faro and Fondemente Nove is operated by smaller motonavi such as Mestre and the Venezia class. Class “4 Li” are37.4 metres long, and carry 800 passengers. Their Fiat or Alfa Romeo diesels give them a speed of 13.5 knots.
